Nalanda Nursing Institute (Durgapur), established for the sole purpose of nursing in 2005, is a nursing college. Approved by INC and WBNC along with WBUHS. The institute offers three programs - 4 4-year B.Sc Nursing, and 3-year GNM - with a strong emphasis on clinical training and academic studies. The fees for the first year for both programs are ₹2,40,00,0 and students are provided withthe  necessary infrastructure and access to hospitals for field education.
