The university provides a 4-year integrated B.A.B.Ed course through its Institute of Educational Technology & Vocational Education. This programme is available in different stages, such as Preparatory, Middle, and Secondary stages, and admission is done through the NCET (National Common Entrance Test).

Yes, PU CET PG provisional merit list for MA Economics is now live on the Panjab University online admissions portal for the 2025-26 session. You can access it by visiting the list for “M.A. (Economics) (Department of Economics, PU)” or the Evening Studies version, and clicking the respective link to view the merit list from here.

Dear student,

No, PU CET UG exam is a Common Entrance Test conducted by Panjab University for admissions to undergraduate programs like B.Sc (Hons), B.A, B.Com, LLB and B. Pharmacy etc. It's an offline, pen-and-paper exam, and it's a competitive exam used to rank candidates for admission. 

PU CET UG does not guarantee admission to B.Tech courses.

To get admission in MA English Literature at Panjab University through the PUCET PG exam, you need to meet both the qualifying and the competitive cut-off criteria. The minimum qualifying marks (Pass Percentage) are:

  • General: at least 35% of the total marks
  • SC/ST/BC/PwDs: 30% of the total marks
