The institute makes use of its strong alumni network and its industrial linkages to provide maximum support for the students to get placed and be self-reliant. Following are the approaches that the Satyam Fashion Institute Training and Placement department takes to ensure maximum placements.

> Internships: - The college encourages students to join an internship program. After completion of the 6th semester in Bachelor Design programs and 2nd semester in PG programs, the students are required to complete two months of on-job training.

> Graduation Projects: - For the Bachelor of Design Lifestyle Accessories Program, four months of on-site projects are required to be done in the 8th semester.

> Graduation Collections: - Students of Bachelor of Fashion Design, Textile Design, and Post Graduate in Fashion Design in the final semester are allowed to develop an industry-sponsored range thus giving them a chance to show their skills and creativity to those companies.

> Final Placements: - Campus placement is conducted for all the students of the final semester of each program using a campus placement drive as well as off-campus interviews if required.

Satyam Fashion Institute also has ties and MoUs with the Ministry of Textiles and Handlooms to hold industry-specific shows. It also conducts Industrial Training in Textile Designing, Printing, Computer-Aided Designing, and Photography in association with Northern Textile Northern Indian Textile Research Association (NITRA), Weaver’s Service Center (WSC), Tukatech Inc., and Nikon.

The training and placement department at SFI Noida conducts mock interviews of the students to make them confident during the placement process.

The internship programs and the on-job training programs while completing the degree gives students ample opportunities to get themselves recognized in the reputed companies thus increasing their chances of getting placed.

The Satyam Fashion Institute placement process begins in the final semester. The criteria for qualification of placement are decided by the recruiter company which is notified to the students beforehand. The schedule of the recruiting companies is also informed well in advance so that the students are prepared for the interview.

Satyam Fashion Institute Internship Program

The placement cell of Satyam Fashion Institute (SFI) in collaboration with reputed companies and designers offers internship programs to the students. Two months of job training after completion of the 6th semester in the bachelor’s program and the 2nd semester of the Post-Graduation program are offered to the students.

Four months on job projects are also offered to the students to get practical exposure and hands-on experience in the design industry. Also, some companies offer students to develop company-sponsored ranges giving the students extra exposure to their respective fields and developing innovative skills in them.
