Roots Collegium was established in 1991 and is situated at Jubilee Hills Road No. 36 and Somajiguda in Hyderabad. Roots Collegium is a result of the entrepreneurial passion & commitment of Mr B P Padala. Mr Padala is a passionate educationist, writer & art lover. Roots Collegium campus consists of 1400+ students studying on four campuses. Roots Collegium has four colleges under its umbrella. They are: 

• Roots Junior College, affiliated to the Board of Intermediate, Telangana State
• Roots Degree College, affiliated to Osmania University, Telangana State
• Roots Hotel Management College, affiliated to Osmania University, Telangana State
• Roots College of Design, affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Fine Arts University, Telangana State

Roots Collegium focuses on management courses and is the first college in Hyderabad to introduce BBA for undergraduate students. Along with BBA, it also offers intermediate, hotel management, fashion and VFX animation courses. Roots Collegium course list comprises 23+ courses both in regular as well as diploma level. The courses at Roots Collegium are affiliated to various universities and bodies such as Osmania, JNAFAU, Telangana Board of Intermediate, Toastmasters, ACCA, Alliance Francis, YI, CII and many more. Roots Collegium admissions are open for the academic year 2023-24 for all the courses and are done on the basis of entrance exams as well as on the basis of merit. Roots Collegium also provides training regarding CLAT and BBA entrance tests. Roots Collegium organises various events and business clubs which help learn skills of leadership, entrepreneurship, and public speaking. Roots Collegium pays a lot of thrust on co-curriculum apart from the regular Roots Collegium curriculum. BBA at ROOTS Collegium

ROOTS Collegium offers a variety of job placement opportunities for its BBA programme students and a competitive salary. This programme is for three years with a practical understanding of industry operations.  The ROOTS Collegium BBA programme is available to candidates with a bachelor's degree and 10+2 years of education. In addition to this, candidates must also take an entrance examination.

B.Sc at ROOTS Collegium

A minimum of 50% marks in 10 + 2 exams is required for admission into ROOTS Collegium B.Sc course. To better understand the subject matter, students should also have taken the science stream at the 10+2 level. Since many companies visiting the campus are tech companies, B.Sc candidates have good placement opportunities on campus.

B.Com at ROOTS Collegium

The B.Com course at ROOTS Collegium is one of the most sought after courses. The students are encouraged to participate in specialised classes, training, workshops, and other activities. Admission to ROOTS Collegium B.Com course is available to candidates with a high school diploma and two years of schooling from a recognised institution with a minimum of 50% marks.

B.Com in Business Analytics at ROOTS Collegium

At ROOTS Collegium, the B.com in Business Analytics programme lasts for three years. The students are taught the fundamentals of management and the operational knowledge of the industry. Students can pursue the BBA program if they have completed 10 + 2 years of schooling.

Bachelor of Catering Technology and Culinary Arts at ROOTS Collegium

ROOTS Collegium Online Admission Process

ROOTS Collegium Admission Process has been shifted online since the Corona pandemic began. The candidate who wants to secure admission should visit the institute's official website and click Apply Now. The candidate must select the desired course and all mandatory details must be entered. The ROOTS Collegium application fee is Rs 1,000. Pay the application fee through credit/debit cards, UPI, or net banking. An email and SMS acknowledgement will be sent to the candidate once submitted. 

Offline Admission Process

Candidates can also gain admission at ROOTS Collegium offline by visiting the admissions department directly. Candidates will need to fill out the admission form with all the required information. Candidates can clarify any doubts or questions about a specific course at the ROOTS Collegium admission cell. Candidates will receive an acknowledgement of the submission once it is submitted to the admissions cell.
