As per the Pondicherry University admission process, applicants need to fulfil the following:

• Candidates must have passed class 12 from a recognised board to qualify for the Pondicherry University integrated courses. 
• Candidates must also appear for CUET entrance examinations and get a valid score for the five-year integrated degrees.
• Candidates must have passed graduation with relevant streams to be eligible for the Pondicherry University PG courses. 
• Then they need to sit for the Pondicherry University Entrance Exam, in which they need to clear the cut-off to be eligible for the Pondicherry University courses.
• Pondicherry University admissions to the MBA programme are based on the marks a candidate gets on the CAT. 
• Candidates who have qualified and hold valid scores on the CAT/CMAT/MAT entrance exam are eligible to opt for this course. 
• The Pondicherry University application fee for the MBA course is Rs 1000 (for general) and Rs 500 (for SC/ ST), which has to be paid through challan or online banking.
• Pondicherry University admission to the PhD programme is based on the marks/rank obtained by the candidates in an entrance exam followed by a personal interview conducted by the university.
• Candidates should have qualified and hold a valid score of UGC/CSIR NET (JRF)/SET/ GATE).
• For other courses (except PhD and MBA), filling out the application form is enough as admission will depend upon how much the student scored on their 12th board exam and qualifying degree.

• Candidates must apply for Pondicherry University admission online official website.
• Candidates only have to fill out the Pondicherry University application form for the desired course and upload the required scanned documents.
• The supported payment modes for application fees are online and offline, including Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/Indian Bank Challan.
• Finally, submit the application form. It is recommended to take the print as a hard copy of the Pondicherry University admission form and fee receipt to keep the important admission information like registration number and application fee payment details.
• Later, the university will publish a hall ticket for the entrance exam (if required, not for all courses). 
• Candidates have to collect the hall ticket and keep a printed copy to take to the examination centre.
