Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University offers scholarships and support to all students who are SC/ ST/ OBC. Jharkhand scholarships sponsored by the state government are also available to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. E-kalyan: The E-Kalyan scholarship 2023 is for students who have completed Class 10 and 12. The e-kalyan web portal is a well-known one-stop platform of the Jharkhand online scholarship portal run by the ST, SC, minority, and backward class ‘Welfare Department’ of the Jharkhand government. Every year, this online scholarship displays the scholarships offered by the concerned department and encourages applications from backward categories. 

The platform also works to expedite the application, authorization, and disbursement of scholarships.
