Ramakrishna Institute of Moral and Spiritual Education (RIMSE) is a premier educational institution run by the Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysore, which is a branch of the well known Ramakrishna Math andRamakrishna Mission, Belur Math, District Howrah, West Bengal,India. The Institution was established in the Year 1974 and this Institution is the result of untiring effort of late Srimath Swami Shambhavanandaji Maharaj, an eminent monk of the Ramakrishna Order. He was also very instrumental in establishing the Ramakrishna Vidyashala, a residential school program for the Boys. The Bachelor of Education degree programme (RIMSE CBCS Scheme) is primarily designed to prepare efficient and committed secondary school teachers with special training in moral and spiritual education. The Course is aimed at helping aspiring student teachers develop competencies and values in the context of changing educational needs and understand effectively his role as a teacher.
