CGC Jhanjeri Scholarships 2024 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

CGC Jhanjeri scholarships provide financial assistance to students in two forms: the JOSH Scholarship and CUET scholarships. CGC Jhanjeri JOSH Scholarship is offered to students interested in courses such as engineering, management, and law, among others. The other scholarship that is offered at CGC Jhanjeri is for CUET candidates. These scholarships are based on the candidates' performance in the entrance examination. CGC Jhanjeri scholarships are offered with the aim of promoting equal opportunities in higher education.

CGC Jhanjeri offers two types of scholarships, both of which are exam-based: the JOSH Scholarship Test and the CUET Scholarship. The JOSH Scholarship is awarded based on a student's performance in the scholarship test, while the CUET Scholarship is granted to students who excel in the CUET entrance examination. These CGC Jhanjeri scholarships provide financial aid to students with academic excellence.

CGC Jhanjeri Scholarship - Exam Based (JOSH Scholarship Test)

CGC Jhanjeri JOSH Scholarship Test is a financial assistance programme that supports students who aspire to pursue courses in engineering, management, commerce, law, computer application, journalism, and sciences. The scholarship was initiated with a fund of 5 CR, supporting over 400 students in 2021. The fund was then increased to 7 CR in 2022, benefiting over 1100 students, and further escalated to 10 CR in 2023, aiding over 2500 students. The institution has plans to extend scholarships worth 12 CR in 2024. CGC Jhanjeri JOSH Scholarship exam is conducted in two stages: Stage 1 from December 2023 to June 2024, and Stage 2 from July 2024 to September 2024. CGC Jhanjeri scholarship percentage is determined by the points scored by the students. For example, students scoring 93 points and above can avail of a 100% scholarship in Stage 1 and 90% in Stage 2, while those scoring between 40-49.99 points are awarded a 10% scholarship in Stage 1 and 5% in Stage 2.  

CGC JOSH Scholarship Criteria

CGC Jhanjeri Scholarship - Exam Based (CUET Scholarship)

Special CGC Jhanjeri scholarships are offered to CUET candidates, which are awarded based on the candidates' performance in the entrance examination. This scholarship programme is provided to support students who wish to enrol in undergraduate programmes. However, this CGC Jhanjeri scholarship has limited seats and they are granted on a first-come, first-serve basis. The scholarship percentage is determined by the CUET results of the candidates. Candidates scoring 90% and above in the CUET exam are eligible for a 100% scholarship. Those scoring between 80% and 89.99% receive an 80% scholarship, while candidates with a score between 70% and 79.99% are awarded a 70% scholarship. Candidates scoring between 60% and 69.99% receive a 50% scholarship, and those scoring below 60% are eligible for a 25% scholarship.
