Haridwar University Scholarships 2024 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

Roorkee College of Engineering offers scholarship to the meritorious students of the college. The scholarship is awarded to all degree programmes based on marks secured in 12th and valid entrance exam scores. Students who have well performed in sports are also awarded with the scholarship. The scholarship is provided at national level, state level, and district level, school level of 100%, 50%, 30% and 10% respectively.

 The students who secure 75% and above marks in any semester are awarded with an academic excellence award of Rs. 5000 .Government scholarship is also provided to the students. Two scholarships namely RAMESH CHAND MEMORIAL AWARD” and “LAXMI MITTAL MEMORIAL AWARD” are created by the institute along with the corpus fund of rupees 51,000/- in the shape of FDR .The medal with the scholarship amount is distributed to the student who secure highest marks in foundation engineering. The award is given at the time of annual function of the college.

Also, 50% scholarship is given on the tuition fees to army personal/ Farmers/ Freedom Fighter/ Sport/ Girls/ Uttarakhand Domicile and has secured minimum 60% marks in 12th standard. In addition to it, 100% Scholarship is given on tuition fee to first 10 Toppers in State Board/ CBSE/ ISC (First year only).
