SIMCA placement cell is equipped with placement officers and coordinators ensuring value-added interaction with their students. The main agenda of the placement cell is to shape students towards their dream careers and also the dedicated placement team works round the year developing contacts across various industries to find job opportunities for their aspiring students.

Sinhgad Institute of Management and Computer Application (SIMCA) placement record is showing an increasing trend year after year. From its first batch, they have set a trend of placing a maximum no of students to make the college as a natural choice among students for management studies.

The training and placement cell helps students to take on the competitive world through various seminars on recent challenges, paper presentations, research exchange, various workshops, and case study competitions, etc.  All this will help the students to become strong enough to withstand the interviews.

These are some activities conducted by the placement cell as the finishing touch to their students such as group discussions, aptitude tests, technical aptitude tests, and lessons about manners and etiquette English speaking skill, soft skills, personality development awareness of the latest trends in technology. These are some names of Top recruiters such as Persistent, Hitachi, Nvidia, L&T Infotech, Cognizant, HSBC, Oracle, etc.

The placement season of 2024-25, 190 students (120 MBA, 70 MCA) registered in Sinhgad Institute of Management and Computer Application. There were 330 visiting companies with a total of 48 offers made. 128 students were placed with a package of ₹2.50 LPA to ₹10 LPA. The overall average salary per offer during the season was ₹4.20 LPA.
