Established in 2009, Sri Aurobindo Institute of Pharmacy (SAIP) is one of the best institutions for pharmacy courses in India. The institute is located in the city of Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Stemmed from the Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS), SAIP was set up with the aim of providing quality education in the field of pharmacy. SAIP has been accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) as well as the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Bhopal. It is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi Proudhyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal.

Initially, the institute offered the B.Pharm course only. In 2012, M.Pharma was added to the courses available at SAIP, which was then followed by D.Pharm and Pharm.D courses. With the full range of undergraduate and postgraduate pharmaceutical course available at the institute, it covers the requirements of a wide range of students aspiring for a career in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. Students at the institute are motivated to be prepared for the challenges that they will have to face at the industry and also motivated, with the means of Incubation Funds, to develop entrepreneurial traits.

The institute aims to become a prominent spot not only for imparting pharmacy education in India but also a hub for research and innovation in the field. It aims to collaborate a discourse of pharma industries at the national as well as global level with the motive of tackling global challenges. The institute is also a promoter of the study of policies defining the pharma industry. The institute also conducts programmes related to drug use and surveillance as well as on the management of pharmacy at the community level.

SAIP is the part of a group of 11 institutions with a total campus area of 54 acres. A host of amenities are available on campus including separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, gymnasiums, bank, post office and more.
