August 28, 2025GATE 2026 registration is now open at gate2026.iitg.ac.in for admission to M.Tech and research programs. Candidates can submit their applications without a late fee until September 28, 2025, while the deadline with a late fee is October 9, 2025. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, in two sessions.

August 07, 2025The TNEA 2025 Round 3 choice filling has started for candidates with ranks between 1,37,711 and 2,39,299 at tneaonline.org. The last day for choice filling is Aug 09, 2025. Tentative allotment will be released on August 10, with confirmation due by August 11.
August 06, 2025The GATE 2026 schedule is now available on gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Registration for GATE 2026 will begin on August 25 and will close on September 25 without a late fee, and on October 6 with a late fee. The exam is scheduled for February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. The results will be announced on March 19, 2026.

- Higher Secondary Examination of (10 + 2) Curriculum (Academic Stream) prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
- Any examination of any other University or authority accepted by the syndicate of Anna University as equivalent thereto.
- Higher Secondary Examination of Vocational Stream (Vocational groups in Engineering / Technology) as prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
- Diploma in Engineering / Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu or any other authority accepted by the syndicate of the University as equivalent there to.
- The candidates who possess the Diploma in Engineering / Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, are eligible for admission to the third semester of the B.E. / B. Tech, Degree Programs in affiliated colleges through lateral entry system.
- The eligibility criteria such as marks, number of attempts and physical fitness and the mode of admission shall be as prescribed by the Syndicate of the University from time to time.
- The candidate shall not have completed 21 years of age as on first of July of the year of application. For candidates belonging to SC/ST the age limit is relaxable upwards by 3 years.Number of appearances, minimum marks and other criteria for admissions to B.E / B.Tech courses are as per AICTE and State government norms as follows.
