S.S. Jain Subodh Girls PG College Admission Procedure

 S.S. Jain Subodh Girls PG College Admission Procedure is given the steps below: 

1. Admission to Part (U.G./P.G.) to all subjects is made in accordance with the rules framed by the Commissionerate, College Education Jaipur and University of Rajasthan.

2. The admission process mode is online/offline.

3. The students who seek to take admission to the college can fill out the application form online after paying ₹400 (₹200 application form and Rs 200 for registration ) and submit the form along with a scanned copy of all the original documents required, in pdf format only, with recent passport size photographs in jpg/jpeg format.

4. Students can fill the form offline by obtaining it from the college office after payment of ₹ 200 for the application form and ₹ 200 for registration.

5. After filling out the registration form and when document verification is done by the college, the candidate has to submit the fee online within 7 days from the date of confirmation mail /message sent from the college.

6. Assistance to fill the application form and fee submission will be provided to those students who are unable to fill the form online or facing any genuine problem therein.

7. The assistance will be provided from the college office; therefore the students have to visit the college in person with all the required documents.

8. If the number of admission forms received by the last date is more than the number of available seats in the preferred subjects, admission will be made in accordance with the second preference, subject to the availability of seats.

9.  The admission will be considered confirmed only when the fee has been realized, otherwise, it will be cancelled after 15 days.

 10. In the case of the online process, once the admission is confirmed, the student must submit the hard copy (printout) of the application form along with attested copies of all the documents at the college office within 15 days.

11. After admission, a student is permitted to change only one subject, only once, provided the subject combination has vacant seats, within 15 days from the date of admission. If she opts for a change in the faculty then it will be permitted only if the marks obtained in the qualifying exam (10+2) are higher than that of the student last admitted or if there is a vacant seat after completion of the admission procedure.

12. Non-collegiate students of Part I, seeking admission in the college as regular students in Part II, should have attained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (compulsorily) and all papers should be cleared. However, the admission will be subject to the availability of the seats.

13. If a Non-collegiate student has passed P.G. (Previous), she will not be eligible to take admission in the final year, as a regular student.

14. A weightage of 2% will be given to minorities (Jain/Sikh/Muslim/Christian/Persian).

15. Weightage of 5% in PG course shall be given to students from Honours in B.A./B. Com./B.Sc. in that subject.

16. Weightage will be provided to the students possessing an NSS/Sports certificate as per guidelines of the state government.
