Mody University Admission 2026
The Mody University admission process differs from course to course. For some courses, the university demands entrance exam scores to provide final admission. For example, the university accepts JEE Main and NEET UG scores for admission to its B.Tech programmes. Similarly, national-level management entrances such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT, and ATMA are accepted by the university for Mody University MBA admissions. The university also conducts MUCET for admission to its various courses. On the other hand, there are some courses, such as BA, B.Sc, MA, M.Sc, M.Des, etc. for which no entrance exam is required.
Mody University Admission Process 2026
Mody University Admission process consists of five steps. Applications are submitted online at modyuniversity.ac.in by clicking the "Apply Now" button.
Step 1 – Online Registration
- Register on the website with basic details and verify via OTP
- Select the desired course and fill in registration and academic details
- Complete payment and upload required documents
- Receive a Unique ID via email and SMS for further process
Step 2 – Entrance Test
- Apply through JEE, CLAT, CUET, CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, XAT, NIFT, LSAT, UCEED or equivalent scores
- Applicants without any entrance score must appear for MUCET 2025, a 90-minute aptitude test with 90 questions
Step 3 – Personal Interview
- MBA and PhD applicants must appear for a Personal Interview (PI)
- All other programmes are based on merit and entrance test scores
Step 4 – Fee Payment
- Pay fees within 15 days of receiving the provisional admission offer letter
- Payment accepted via NEFT/RTGS/IMPS or Demand Draft only
- Cash payments are not accepted
Step 5 – Reporting and Enrolment
- Report to the Administrative Office of the respective school as per dates notified on the university website

Mody University of Science & Technology, is dedicated to promote academic excellence and inclusivity in education. To help aspiring students, we provide a wide array of scholarship schemes that reward academic merit and offer financial aid to students from varied backgrounds. Our scholarship programme for UG is grouped under five pillars:
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR UG STUDENTS
- Academic Merit (Category A): Rewarding students based on their exceptional performance in Class XII board examinations.
- National Level Entrance Exams (Category B): Providing incentives for high achievers in competitive examinations such as JEE Main, NEET, CUET, and others.
- Special Category Fee Waivers (Category C): Supporting specific demographics, including siblings, alumni wards, and residents of the Shekhawati region.
- Defence & Police Personnel (Category D): Honoring the service of our nation’s protectors by offering dedicated financial aid to their children.
- Continued Education Excellence (Category E): Encouraging lifelong learning for alumni of Mody School or Mody University who wish to pursue higher studies within the institution.
Important Note: - Scholarships are sanctioned exclusively at the time of admission. Please note that these awards are valid for the first year only and are not eligible for carry-forward or renewal in subsequent academic years.
UG Academic Merit Scholarship (Category A)
This scholarship is open to students who have passed Class XII (or equivalent) from any recognized board in India or abroad, or hold a Diploma in Pharmacy / Polytechnic (10+3) from a recognized institution. The scholarship covers a portion of the 1st year academic fee, based on marks in the best three core subjects (relevant to the chosen program) plus one language subject.

How marks are calculated: Aggregate % is based on the best three core subjects required for your chosen program + one language subject. Core subjects follow program-specific eligibility (e.g., PCM for engineering, PCB for science).
Note: For the purpose of awarding Academic Merit Scholarships, the percentage of marks shall be calculated based on the aggregate of the best three core subjects relevant to the chosen program and one language subject, as prescribed for that program. The selection of core subjects will strictly follow the program-specific eligibility criteria (e.g., PCM or PCB).

UG Special Category Fee Waivers Scholarship (Category C)
Mody University provides a 10% scholarship on Academic Fees for the first year of the program to students qualifying under the following categories:
1) Alumni Ward & Sibling Scholarship
Designed to support our extended university family. This waiver applies to:
Wards of Alumni: Children of Mody University or Mody School graduates.
Siblings: Real sisters of alumni or currently enrolled students at Mody University/Mody School.
2) Shekhawati Region Domicile Waiver
To encourage local talent, a fee waiver is offered to students residing in the Shekhawati Region, covering the following districts:
Sikar
Churu
Jhunjhunu
3) Government Reserved Category Support
In alignment with our commitment to inclusive education, a waiver is extended to students belonging to the following categories (valid certificate required):
EWS (Economically Weaker Section)
SC/ST (Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe)
PH (Physically Handicapped)
Any other category covered under Government Reservation policies.
4) Special Village Residency Scholarship
A dedicated scholarship for residents of specific local heritage villages. To qualify, students must provide a Domicile Certificate from:

Mody University fee waiver upto 50% for the wards of Defence and Police personnels, with an extra 20% benefit for the alumni Scholarships are non-renewable and strictly on a first-year basis and are offered as per the eligibility and admission norms

Note:
1. Single Scholarship Rule: Only one scholarship shall be awarded to a student from Category A, B, C, or D, whichever is most beneficial to the student.
2. Validity of Scholarship: Scholarships shall be sanctioned only once at the time of admission and shall not be carried forward or renewed in subsequent academic years.
3. Maximum Scholarship Limit: Under no circumstances shall the total cumulative scholarship and/or fee waiver exceed 100% of the academic fee.
4. Mode of Disbursement: The approved scholarship amount shall be disbursed during the academic fee for first year.
5. CGPA Calculation: Conversion of CGPA to percentage, wherever applicable, shall be carried out strictly as per the official equivalence formula certified by the concerned College/University.
6. Exclusion from Scholarship: Scholarships shall not be applicable to candidates seeking admission through transfer, lateral entry, or direct admission to the second year under any program, other than LEET and Diploma (Polytechnic, 10+3) or Diploma (Pharmacy).
7. Admission and Scholarship Award Process: Admission to Mody University of Science & Technology shall be based on the candidate’s performance in the prescribed written examination (if not appeared in any national level examination) and interview. Scholarships shall be awarded only after completion of the admission process, verification of eligibility, submission of all required documents, and successful clearance of the written examination (if not appeared in any national level examination) and interview.
