An memorandum of understanding(MOU) has been signed between St. Joseph’s college of Engineering and New Mexico Tech. The MOU was signed between Dr. B. Babu Manoharan, Managing Director, St.Joseph’s college of Engineering and Dr. Daniel. H. Lopez, President,New Mexico Tech, Socarre, New Mexico, USA on August 22, 2003. This MOU signifies mutual interest in the development of joint educational and research projects. The two institutions agreed to collaborate in research, teaching and/or out reach in the fields of interest to both institutions. The program may also encompass the exchange of publication, scientific and technical material, scientific journals, submission of joint research proposals to funding agencies and co-operations in research projects on topics of mutual interest. This program envisages long term and short term exchanges of faculty visiting professorships and other activities in the fields that are of mutual interest.
Business English Certificate (BEC), a certification from Cambridge universityThe Business English Certificate (BEC), a certification from Cambridge university, ESOL is a qualification which is specifically in English for work, whether it is industry, business or government. BEC is a skill based qualification; it gives students the opportunity to learn practical language skills and show to employers how good they are in these skills.
