SIBM Bangalore Scholarships 2024 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

SIBM Bangalore scholarships are offered to students who have an outstanding academic record and also to those who require financial assistance. The SIBM Bengaluru scholarships available to students are listed below.

• Post Graduate (MBA) scholarships for IIT Graduates: A total 5 IIT students enrolling at the institute for the MBA programme will be eligible for a 20% fee waiver. 
• University Scholarship: Some of the SIU scholarships that are offered are Merit based PG Scholarships, Jayatee Deshmukh PG Scholarship for a Girl Student, Malhotra Weikfield , Foundation Scholarship for MBA-IB, Alumni Scholarship for first rank in MBA-IB and Alumni Scholarship for second rank in MBA-IB.
• International Scholarship: Some of the international scholarships offered at SIBM Bengaluru are One Partial (50%) Academic Scholarship for a Post Graduate Programme and One Full (100%) Academic Scholarship for an Undergraduate Programme
• Central Scholarship Scheme: Some of the Central Scholarship schemes offered at SIBM Bangalore are Pre-matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities, Scholarships for Top Class Education for students with disabilities, Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities, Merit Cum Means Scholarship For Professional and Technical Courses CS, Post Matric Scholarship for SC students, National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students, and National Means Cum Merit Scholarship.
• NHFDC Scholarships for Students with Disabilities.

University sports Scholarships are awarded to athletes committed to combining their sport and education. The program represents a unique partnership between sports and education. It aims to reduce the drop-out rate of talented athletes from sports by supporting and developing the talent of today from the sporting success of tomorrow. University Sports Board has successfully launched the University Sports Scholarship. Five sports Scholarships of Rs.24000 /- each is been awarded to the outstanding sportsmen of SIU who has participated at Intervarsity /National/International or state level tournaments. The list of achievements to date by University Sports Scholar is truly impressive. The majority have represented either Symbiosis University at National University Games or National games in their chosen sport, and some have already had considerable success at International level.

1. Late Jayatee Deshmukh Best Outgoing Girl Student Gold Medal is awarded at the time of convocation every year.

2. The selection of the Best Outgoing Girl Student would be made by a Committee constituted for the purpose which would consider recommendations made by Directors / Heads of all Post Graduate and Undergraduate institutions. The criteria would cover academic performance as well as achievements in the field of extracurricular / cultural / sports activities and participation in social activities.
