Candidates aspiring for admission in Tolani Institute of Pharmacy must note that 75% of seats available in D.Pharma course are filled on the basis of admission counselling conducted by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) Gujarat. On the other hand, 25% of seats in D.Pharma course offered by Tolani Institute of Pharmacy are filled by the institute directly. Therefore, D.Pharma aspirants of Tolani Institute of Pharmacy have two options, viz., participate in the centralised counselling conducted ACPC through GUJCET or direct admission procedure of the institute. Non-Gujarat students can also seek admission in Tolani Institute of Pharmacy. However, only 5% of D.Pharma seats are reserved for such students, which are filled on the basis of JEE Main/ NEET/ GUJCET (other state students can also apply for GUJCET).
Candidates must have cleared 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics/ Biotechnology/Biology.
Candidates aspiring for admission through centralised counselling conducted by ACPC must clear GUJCET exam.
Candidates aspiring for 75% state quota admissions must belong to Gujarat domicile. Students from other states are treated as a non-domicile category, and only 5% of seats are reserved for such candidates.
GUJCET score is not mandatory for 25% of seats that come under management quota of Tolani Institute of Pharmacy. The candidates should have at least 45% of marks in Class 12th to secure admission in D.Pharma course through management quota.
D.Pharma aspirants of Tolani Institute of Pharmacy can fill the online application form for D.Pharma admission through the official website of Gujarat ACPC. However, only those candidates who wish to get admission through state quota (75% of seats) must fill the online application form through Gujarat ACPC website. Students seeking direct admission can visit the institute directly to obtain the application form. 25% of seats in Tolani Institute of Pharmacy are filled under management quota for which the candidates can obtain and submit the application form directly at the institute.
While exercising the options as a part of ACPC counselling, the candidates need to select the Tolani Institute of Pharmacy as one of the options. It is advisable to choose Tolani as the first preference in the web options process for better admission chances.
Tolani Institute of Pharmacy D.Pharma selection process is divided into two categories -
D.Pharma Admission through ACPC Counselling: ACPC Gujarat will release a merit list based on the candidates' performance in GUJCET and Class 12 marks. 60% weightage will be given to Class 12 marks and 40% weightage will be given to GUJCET score for preparing the merit list. A merit number will be allocated to each candidate, which is used for the seat allotment. The seat will be allocated on the basis of merit and the candidate's rank in the GUJCET exam. Admission chances in Tolani Institute of Pharmacy are more for candidates who choose the institute as first preference in the web options.
Direct Admission: Candidates who did not participate in ACPC counselling or did not get admission through centralised counselling can seek direct admission by visiting the institute. The institute will allocate admission on the basis of merit, i.e., marks scored by the candidates in Class 12/ JEE Main/ NEET.
