Overall: INFRASTRUCTURE : The infrastructure of our college is quite good. We have Wi-Fi facility, research laboratories, as well as a good library too. Wi-Fi is available here, and for that, students need to register their MAC address in admission. Labs are good and well-equipped, and classrooms are spacious with air-conditioners. If there is an emergency, then medical facilities are available from the SRM Hospital immediately. FACULTY : Professors provide us with materials which are needed for our semesters and also question banks to help us. Every teacher is well-qualified, and the quality of teaching will be good. Students have to interact, which determines the high gain of knowledge. Teachers get confidential online feedback from students periodically, and they will work on it. GUEST LECTURE: Guest lecturers at a college are usually up-and-comers, experts or well-known in their field.Colleges ask guest speakers to the campus for a variety of reasons.It is very useful to open up student’s eyes to job prospects and they also acquire some knowledge. MADRAS MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION (MMA) : Madras Management Association in association with Coaching Foundation India Ltd allowing us to take part in the event of Madras Management Association and for getting us a privilege of being a member of this association.It making us a stage to get the exposure and a vision about the world that we’re yet to step in. INDUSTRIAL VISIT : Industry visits sensitize students to the practical challenges that organizations face in the technical world. Industrial visits also give greater clarity about various technical concepts for students as they can practically see how these concepts are put into action. It provides you an opportunity to learn practically through interaction, working methods and employment practices.Our college is arranging industrial visit every semester once.

Overall: Project Guidance: I am a MBA Final year student in SRM Valliammai Engineering College. Faculties are well experienced and have more knowledge about current trends in the Management field. They guide us in our project with utmost care and help us to learn new things. The high involvement of my project guide not only help me to complete my project successfully but also to learn the emerging trends in the field of Management. I feel blessed to have such a supportive Project Guide. Bazaar Activity: I am along with my friends participated in the 'Retail Expo (Bazaar)' which was conducted last year in the month of March. Our college has set a separate team to organize the bazaar activity. Our college provided us all facilities to successfully conduct the bazaar. As a Management student it helped me to enhance my interpersonal skills, it gave me a practical experience such as how to organize and coordinate an event. Online Project Viva: Our MBA project mock viva was conducted in online. I sincerely appreciate the faculties who have planned and well organized the mock viva in this critical situation. The schedule was perfectly planned and was successfully completed with the support of our faculties and students. The mock viva has built a confidence in the students to face the final project viva. Value Added Courses: Our college apart from the curriculum of the course conducts value added courses. These value added courses are conducted for the benefits of the students after the regular class hours. I have completed the value added course 'Learning Exports'. In this course I have gained knowledge about how to export products and their rules and regulations. My faculty has well explained us about the benefits of exports. My faculty has collected many materials and information and shared with us.

Overall: Bazaar Activity: Every year the college will organize bazaar activity. This is more important and good experience for student who will be doing Marketing specialization. As it will put students under situations like bargaining, sometimes angry and demanding customers and help us to learn handling these situations & selling the product with Profit. Value Added Courses: “Learning Exports” organised by Department of Management. The Value Added Education Courses aim to provide additional learner which are conducted after class hours or during semester breaks. These courses are conducted by professionals and industry experts and help students stand apart from the rest in the job market by adding further value to their resume. Industrial Visit: In our batch we visited organizations like “United India Steels – Sriperumbatthur, Modern Bakers – Madhavaram, Diamond Engineering – Mampakkam”.Industrial visits help us gain hands-on experience of how industry operations are executed. It exposes US to new surrounding where we are able to learn manufacturing process involved in industries.

Overall: At a postgraduate level, I believe the relationship made with the faculty members are of paramount importance. The faculty members of SRMVEC undoubtedly creates an environment that helps the students to achieve both in terms of academics as well as extracurriculars. The course curriculum is well apt for the course, enabling the students to prepare mini-thesis at a very young age under various subjects along with a number of Industry visits, Case studies spanning over the 2 years, only to conclude in an industry-based internship /Capstone Project.
