Colleges of Education is open to the candidates in possession with Bachelor’s Degree in the faculty of Arts / Science / Social Sciences / Commerce / Management (under 10+2+3 or 10+1+3 pattern) / Engineering / Medicine / Agriculture / Veterinary Sciences / Forestry / Music and Fine Arts from the University of Jammu or any other statutary university in India and having secured at least 45% of the aggregate marks in the qualifying Examination in case of general category.In case of SC/ST category candidates who are permanent residents of J&K State and belong to the areas falling under the jurisdiction of Jammu University, the eligibility condition will be having secured 40% of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
