NIT Trichy Signs MoU with VMRF
2It has been a proud moment for Vinayaka Missions Research Foundation (VMRF) as it signs an MoU with the National Institute of Technology, Trichy (NIT-T). The MoU between the two Institutes has been signed for the promotion of collaborative Research and Consultancy. Through the collaboration, NIT-T and 24 constituent colleges & schools of VMRF will carry out joint research, publish joint papers, patents, and apply for external research funding. The MoU will be conducting research in various Technological fields like AI, Nanotechnology, Structural Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Health Science, Metal Joining, Hardware Security, Renewable Energy, and Lightweight Materials.
NIT Trichy Director Aghila stated that the academic information, scholarly information, materials and publications, and research facilities will be shared between the two entities. She also added that NITT is actively involved in developing sensors and devices which can find application in health care services. This MoU will help in undertaking clinical trials and field application of the devices developed at NIT-T. The MoU will be valid for 5 years.
VMRF School of Allied Health Science Awarded as “Best in Allied Health Sciences Education”
School of Allied Health Sciences, Vinayaka mission’s Research Foundation (DU) was awarded as the “Best in Allied Health Sciences Education” in Salem District for its contribution to society through education and Empowerment of students belonging especially to rural areas. The award was received by Prof.Dr.B.Sendilkumar, Dean-AHS, VMRF(DU) who is the epitome of the success of the institution. Kalaignar Seithigal is a regional Tamil News media channel in Tamilnadu. Every year it organizes “Engal Oor Engal Perumai” award ceremony program which means "Our City, Our Pride" with the aim of recognizing & encouraging the various organizations that have made significant achievements in their field. This year current year the award ceremony was held at Salem on April 9th, 2022. Dr. K.Sivaraman, Siddha Medicine, Salem was invited as a Chief Guest, Mr.Rajendran, MLA, Salem District Central Chief Secretary, Mr.Sezhiyan, Korada, Tamilnadu Legislative Assembly, Mr.Christhuraj IAS, Salem Corporation Commissioner, Mr.Abhinav, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Salem & Mr. Madasamy, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Salem & various academicians, Industrialists were felicitated in this occasion.
