Grading System in India: CBSE, UGC & Indian Universities Academic Grading

Grading System in India: The grading system in India is widely followed across CBSE schools, UGC-recognized institutes, and Indian universities, providing a standardized way to evaluate students’ academic performance. Globally, grading systems are recognized as one of the most effective tools for assessing learning outcomes. Introduced in 2009, the grading system replaced the traditional percentage-based evaluation under the updated education policy. Designed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), it ensures fair assessment and minimizes disparities in the education system. The scale of the university is considered while assigning grades, which allows students of similar capabilities to be evaluated fairly, rather than being separated by minor differences in marks.

Dear Student,

Waise toh D.El.Ed course ki age limit 18-35 years hai lekin caste category ke hisaab se upper age limit badd sakti hai. D.El.Ed ki age limit general candidates ke liye 18-35 years hai, aur agar scheduled caste/ scheduled tribe/ backward class category candidates ke liye 18-40 years hai. Agar aap physically handicapped hai toh aapke liye D.El.Ed ki age limit 18-50 years hai aur agar aap ex-servicemen hai toh aapke liye D.El.Ed ki age limit government rules par depend karti hai. Aap apply karte waqt state board requirements bhi check kar sakte hain age limit ki details ke liye. D.El.Ed ki age limit and eligibility criteria higher education institution ke hisaab se vary bhi karta hai, toh aap vo bhi check zarur kijiyega.
