Y. V. Rao Siddhartha College of Education - YVRSCE
Siddhartha College of Education, Vijayawada was established in the year 1984 to provide a pre-service training at secondary level (B.Ed. Course). It was inaugurated by Prof. K. Rama Mohan Rao, the then Vice-Chancellor of Nagarjuna University on 23rd January, 1984. The inaugural function of the new college building was presided over by the Vice President of Siddhartha Academy of General & Technical Education Sri Garapati Venkateswara Rao, Hon’ble Minister for Secondary School Education, Andhra Pradesh, Sri Devineni Venkata Ramana inaugurated the new building. The college was renamed as Y.V. Rao Siddhartha College of Education on 10.02.2000. College approved by National Council for Teacher Education. It is accorded permanent affiliation by Acharya Nagarjuna University from 2001-2002 academic year onwards. The modern teaching methodology assists the students in getting an all around view of engineering, technology and the entrepreneur world. The diligent faculty team of the college possesses hands-on experience and up to date knowledge of their subject and area of expertise. The infrastructure and facilities of YVRSCE consists of spread-out campus alongside various amenities in the form of library, computer center, classrooms with proper teaching and learning aids, medical facilities etc. The institute seeks to place each of its students in an organization/company of great repute.
