• The birth date of the applicant should be after 1st January 1995.

• Applicants who possess an undergraduate degree from a reputed institution abroad must be living, studying or working in India for a minimum of two years in order to apply.
• There must be prior admission to the course and institution selection in the application form. Applicants will have to present proof of admission.
• Required minimum grade/percentage:-

Candidates need to have an aggregate grade of 70%, a CGPA of 7.2/10, or a GPA of 3/4 for Mathematics, Sciences, Environment and related subjects from a recognised university/institution.

Candidates must have an aggregate grade of 65%, CGPA 6.8/10, or GPA 2.6/4 for Social Sciences, Humanities, Law, Fine Arts, Architecture and related subjects from a recognised university/institution.

• Candidates who hold an English language certification as a conditional part of their call letter will have to earn that credential before applying for the scholarship.
• Candidates who have obtained a delayed offer of admission need to have a reasonable offer for the scholastic year in which they plan to study to be qualified for that year's Scholarship.

Who are not eligible?

Candidates who possess a postgraduate qualification (e.g. Master’s or PhD) from a foreign institution are non-eligible to opt for the scholarship. Candidates who are currently studying or have already commenced their postgraduate education at a foreign institution are not suitable to apply. Students who are interested in the following subjects are not eligible for the scholarship:

• Fashion Design
• Business and Finance
• Computer Science
• Hospitality and Tourism
• Medicine, Dentistry, and related therapies
• Indian Studies without Contemporary Relevance
