Madras Christian College is an autonomous college connected with the University of Madras in Tamil Nadu. It was founded on April 3, 1837, by Rev. John Anderson, a Church of Scotland missionary. NAAC has awarded the institute an A grade. Madras Christian College educates all students, regardless of caste or community. UGC has also approved MCC. The institute has also inked 15 Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with other educational institutions and industries for the student's overall growth.
