The eligibility requirements are a prerequisite that applicants must meet in addition to the SP Jain XAT cutoff 2024 in order to be considered for admission to any of the management courses offered by the institute. Prior to applying, applicants should ensure that they review the prerequisites for the courses they want to enroll in. Check out the general requirements listed below to become eligible for admission to the PGDM programme offered by SP Jain:
- Candidates are required to possess an excellent academic background.
- The selection criteria at SP Jain encompass a candidate’s performance in the Class 10th, Class 12th, and each academic year during graduation.
- Candidates must have obtained a Bachelor's degree over a minimum duration of 3 years with at least 50% aggregate, or an equivalent CGPA, from any university established by an Act of the national or state legislature, or from any other educational institution recognized by an Act of Parliament, or from any institution deemed to be a university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or from any other educational institution recognized by the Ministry of HRD under the Government of India.
- The Bachelor’s degree obtained by the candidates must be awarded by an institute/university recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- To be considered for admission at SP Jain, candidates must have registered for and appeared in one of the following exams: CAT 2023, XAT 2024, or GMAT (taken starting in 2021). Prerequisites for admission include achieving the required cutoff marks.
- Consideration will be given to relevant work experience obtained after graduation. Applicants have been observed to possess a relevant work experience of maximum 5 years. Experience letters, salary slips, and experience letters, among other documents, must be submitted as proof of employment history.
- For PGMPW, candidates must have a minimum of one year of career break and a minimum of four years of full-time work experience.
- It is not mandatory to possess work experience to enroll into the PGDM programme offered by SP Jain. Graduates without any work experience or with less than five years of work experience are also eligible to apply.
SP Jain PGDM Selection Process 2024-26
The final selection to the PGDM programme at SP Jain is governed by the candidate’s academic record, profile, relevant work experience, scores obtained in the entrance exam , and performance in group interviews. The PGDM selection process at SP Jain encompasses the stages mentioned below.
Phase 1:
- Shortlisting of candidates for the interview round on the basis of the applicant's profile, that include academic consistency, number of years of relevant work experience, versatility, and other achievements
- Obtaining the minimum required cutoff in the XAT 2024 exam
Phase 2 (after the release of entrance exam scores):
- Sending invitations to candidates for interviews based on their academic profile and performance in the XAT entrance exam
- Preparation of a selection list is based on a composite score calculated on the basis of the applicant's profile, academic performance, XAT score, relevant work experience, and performance in the two rounds of group interviews
In order to apply for the PGDM programme offered at SP Jain, candidates must have filled out the online application form by November 24, 2023. The application fee for each of the PGDM and PGDM (BM) programmes was INR 2000, if applied separately. However, candidates applying for both PGDM & PGDM (BM) programmes together had to pay an application fee of INR 3000.
