The Innovation and Entrepreneurship component was included as a mandatory section in CMAT 2026, and the number of questions in each section was reduced from 25 to 20. According to the most recent CMAT exam pattern, the paper will consist of five sections: quantitative techniques, logical reasoning, language comprehension, general awareness, and innovation and entrepreneurship. Each segment will include 20 questions and will be worth 80 points.
The NTA will release the CMAT 2026 admit card 5 days before the CMAT 2026 exam. The admit card will be made available in the third week of January 2026 on the official website. The CMAT 2026 will take place in the fourth week of January 2026.
Candidates should begin studying for the CMAT 2026 exam at least six months ahead of time. This time frame will allow you to properly complete the CMAT syllabus and practise a large number of mock examinations.
The CMAT 2026 exam will be conducted by NTA in the Fourth week of January 2026, in two shifts which are as follows:
- Shift 1: 9:00 AM to 12 PM
- Shift 2: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM
The CMAT 2026 registration will begin in the second week of November 2025. The CMAT application form 2026 will be made available till the last week of December 2025. The CMAT registration process consists of creating an account on the NTA website, completing the CMAT application form, and paying the application fees.
The CMAT 2026 exam will be conducted in the fourth week of January 2026. In India, the CMAT exam score is approved for admission to approximately 1,300 MBA colleges. It is an annual exam that is given in computer-based mode at several test centres.
