Department of Management Sciences, Savitribai Phule Pune University, or PUMBA, was established in 1971. The university is accredited by the NAAC with an "A" grade and recognised by the UGC. PUMBA offers MBA courses in various specialisations. To be eligible for admission at PUMBA, candidates must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks. PUMBA admissions will be based on the CMAT/CAT/MH-CET scores. Some of the top companies that participate in the PUMBA placement drive are Axis, Kotak, Bank of Baroda, HDFC Bank, etc. For Department of Management Sciences placement, the highest CTC has been Rs 13.55 LPA and the average CTC has been Rs 6.74 LPA. PUMBA MBA admissions for Maharashtra candidates are contingent on a valid MAH CET exam score from DTE Maharashtra. A valid score in CMAT/ CAT/ MAH CET, on the other hand, works well for candidates from outside Maharashtra.
