The Indian Institute of Technology - IIT Bombay is one of the first and oldest IITs in India which was set up in 1958. The IITs in India are synonymous with the innovative and quality technical education which is not an exception of IIT Bombay as well. The institute authorities felt the need of quality education in management for the commercialising and global expansion of technological innovation. This was only possible if the students are trained with proper business management training. With this aim, in 1995, the Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management started its journey as a part of IIT Bombay.

SJMSOM offers various courses such as MBA, Executive MBA, Fellowship Programmes and more to build the business leaders of tomorrow.
