One of the major eligibility requirements for the ONGC Scholarship 2025 is that you must be a citizen of India and pursuing a full-time first-year degree course in MBBS, engineering, MBA, and Master's in Geology and Geophysics at an accredited university or college. • You need to be a permanent resident of India.
• You must belong to the Scheduled Caste, General EWS, Scheduled Tribe, and Other Backward Classes categories.
• You must have enrolled in a full-time course program at an AICTE / UGC /State University / State Education Board / MCI / Central University / Central Government institution in the first year of an engineering/ Master in Geology /MBBS course or the first year of an MBA / Geophysics programme.
• If you are pursuing Engineering or MBBS, you must have scored at least a minimum of 60% in the grade 12th final exam.
• If you are pursuing an MBA / Master's in Geology / Geophysics, you must have secured at least a minimum of 6.0 CGPA / OGPA on a scale of 10 or 60% in the final exam.
• If you belong to the SC or ST category, your family's annual income must not exceed the amount of INR 4,50,000.
• If you belong to the OBC or General category, your family's annual income must not exceed the amount of INR 2,00,000.
• Your age must be below 30 years.

The application process for the ONGC Scholarship 2025 is quite simple, and you can perform the following procedure in order to fill out the online application form:

Step 1: First, you will have to go to the official web page of the ONGC Foundation.

Step 2: Next, select the “Apply Scholarship” option, and now you can begin with the application process.

Step 3: Now, fill out the requisite details such as educational qualifications, personal details, background, and income details. Make sure that you are correctly filling out the details to avoid any rejection.

Step 4: After that, provide all the requisite documents along with the application form and submit the form.

Step 5: Once you are done with filling out the online application form, take a hard copy of the application and send it to the designated ONGC office of their respective zone. The zone of application will depend on the basis of the location of their respective colleges/universities for their qualifying exam. You must remember that your domicile will not be considered as your zone.

ONGC Scholarship 2025 is entirely a merit-based scholarship, and you will be provided the grant on the grounds of academic excellence. If you wish to pursue an engineering or MBBS programme, you will be selected only if you have performed well in the 12th class exam. In case you wish to apply for an MBA or Master's programme in geology or geophysics, you will be selected on the basis of your performance at the graduation level. As the scholarship intends to help students belonging to impoverished backgrounds, students hailing from underprivileged backgrounds can expect preference in case all candidates secure the same marks on the qualifying exam. In addition to that, if you belong to a BPL (Below Poverty Line) family, you will also be provided special consideration. Nonetheless, other students will get the opportunity only in case of insufficient BPL students fulfilling the eligibility criteria. • You should not be receiving any other scholarships or financial aid in order to be eligible for this scholarship.
• In order to continue receiving the scholarship grant, you will need to perform well throughout the yearly examination.
• Not just your academic performance, but your behaviour will also be taken into account to decide whether to renew a scholarship.
• You must have received at least 5 grade points out of 10 or a minimum of 50% in the examination.
• In case you do not uphold the academic standards or conduct, you won't be able to receive the scholarship amount.
• In case your scholarship gets cancelled, you have the option to reapply by completing the scholarship renewal application form. However, only if you have once again been able to retain the required percentage for grades.
