Sun International Institute of Tourism and Management (SIITAM) Hyderabad was established in 2008, providing education as required by the industry. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the college received the Times of India's Best Education Icon Award 2021. The courses are offered at UG and PG levels in the fields of management, hotel management and science. The SIITAM Hyderabad courses include MBA, PGDHM, BBA, B.Sc and BHM. It also offers a diploma and integrated programmes in hotel management. Candidates with a 50% in 10+2 are eligible for SIITAM Hyderabad admission to the UG courses and a 50% in graduation for admission to the PG courses. The college provides the best placement opportunities to the students. The highest package is offered to MBA graduates, Rs 6 LPA. At the SIITAM Hyderabad placements, the top recruiters are Hilton, Baymont, Park Royal Inn, Shangri-La, Swissotel, Barcelo, Renaissance Hotels, Gaylord Hotels, Hyatt Regency, Vivanta, Trident, Taj Hotels and Resorts, Genpact, Spicejet, Novotel, The Oberoi Group, HCL, Infosys, HSBC and many others. For all UG and PG students who achieve at least 80% in the intermediate are awarded the Sun Merit Scholarship. The campus library has all the necessary management and hospitality course materials. The computer lab is updated with new software. At SIITAM Hyderabad students can also avail hostel facilities. Other facilities include training restaurants, a bakery and confectionery, a housekeeping lab, a food and beverage lab, an auditorium, a sports complex and a cafeteria.
