SUN International Institute for Tourism & Management follows a direct merit-based admission process for all courses, and an entrance exam is not required for admission. The process is the same for UG, Diploma, and PG courses, with the only difference being the qualifying exam used to prepare the merit list. For MBA admissions, scores from TG ICET 2026 may also be considered. Here is the step-by-step admission process for all courses:
Step 1: Check Eligibility Confirm that you meet the minimum qualification for your chosen course (Class 10, Class 12, or Graduation as applicable). See the eligibility table above for course-wise requirements.
Step 2: Fill the Application Form Visit sun.edu.in and click on "Apply Now." Register with your email ID and mobile number. Fill in your personal details, academic details, and course preference. Download and take a printout of the application form, or submit it online.
Step 3: Submit the Application Submit the completed application form online or send a hard copy by post to your preferred campus. Attach self-attested copies of required documents (see Documents section below).
Step 4: Application Review and Shortlisting SIITAM evaluates all applications based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Candidates with higher marks in their Class 10/12/Graduation are prioritised. There is no fixed cutoff — merit is relative to the applicant pool for that year.
Step 5: Personal Interview Shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview at the campus of their choice (Ramnagar, Miyapur, or Ameerpet). The interview is a basic interaction to assess communication, intent, and suitability for the programme. No technical or subject knowledge is tested at this stage.
Step 6: Selection and Offer Letter Candidates who clear the personal interview receive a selection confirmation from the institute. For MBA applicants who appeared for TG ICET 2026, the TG ICET score may be used as an additional qualifier alongside the graduation merit.
Step 7: Document Verification Report to the campus with original documents for verification. This includes mark sheets, transfer certificate, identity proof, and passport-size photographs. Documents are verified by the admissions team.
Step 8: Fee Payment and Seat Confirmation Pay the first-year tuition fee within the stipulated time (typically 7 days of receiving the offer letter) to confirm your seat. Payment can be made online (UPI, net banking, card) or offline at the campus. Collect the fee receipt and admission confirmation letter.
Step 9: Commencement of Classes The academic session for all courses at SIITAM Hyderabad begins in June–July 2026.
