NMMS Scholarship

NMMS Scholarship 2025 is a centrally supported scheme of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Eligible students must secure a minimum of 55% in Class 8 (50% for SC/ST) and should have a family income of less than INR 3.5 lakh. It provides meritorious students from economically weaker sections with INR 12,000 annually to Class 9 students in government or aided schools up to Class 12. The selection is done based on a state-level test, such as the MAT and SAT. The scholarship encourages continuity in studies and minimises dropouts by giving direct financial support through the Public Financial Management System (PFMS).
