Central University of Kashmir was established in the year 2009 by an Act of Parliament alongside 15 other Central Universities. Later it was divided to form two independent universities: Central University of Kashmir (CUK) and Central University of Jammu (CUJ). Central University of Kashmir admissions are offered on the basis of candidates scores in different entrance exams. To apply for UG and PG admission at CU Kashmir, candidates must register and appear for the CUET conducted by NTA. • CU Kashmir UG Admission: Passed 10 + 2 or equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate. Clear CUET UG. Apply for CU Kashmir UG admission on the official university website. Attend the CU Kashmir counselling. Seek admission on the scheduled date as and when selected. 
• Central University of Kashmir PG Admission: Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Clear CUET. Seek for admission post getting selected in CU Kashmir counselling. 
• Central University of Kashmir MBA Admission: CMAT score is required to apply for an MBA at CU Kashmir. Attend the PI or GD and seek admission if selected. The final selection is based on a 75% CMAT score and a 25% PI/ GD score.
• CU Kashmir PhD Admission:  Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks required. Candidates must clear the CUKAT, followed by a personal interview or viva.
