About Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU)
Lalit Narayan Mithila University, also known as LNMU, is a public university established in 1972. Located in Darbhanga, Bihar, the LNMU campus spans over 230 acres. The university is affiliated with itself as a state university and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited with a B++ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). LNMU is ranked 46 among universities in India by NIRF in 2024 and 3rd in Bihar by uniRank in 2021.
