For two and three years, respectively, Madurai Kamaraj University PG admission is offered to its MCA and MBA programmes. The MCA programme requires a BCA or any other Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, whereas the MBA programme requires graduation in any discipline. GD and PI are used to determine Madurai Kamaraj University PG admission after the university entrance exam. Madurai Kamaraj University PhD admission is offered for PhD (full-time/part-time) courses in a range of specialisations at the doctoral level. The preferred eligibility requirement is a Master's degree in the required field. Written exams and interviews administered by the university serve as the basis for admission. Applicants are excluded from the PhD entrance exam if they have a Junior or Senior Research Fellowship approved by National or State level research funding authorities. The PhD entrance exam is also waived for applicants chosen by a committee established by the research department or institution and appointed to a research project. Holders of any other fellowships, such as the NET, JRF, CSIR, SLET, Project Fellow, or RGNF, are also exempt from appearing in the entrance test.
