Stevens Institute of Technology (SIT) is a private research university in Hoboken in New Jersey. The institution was incorporated in 1870. Steven Institute of Technology is the oldest technological university and solely dedicated to Engineering Programs. Stevens Institute of Technology has been accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education since 1927.
SIT is ranked #74 in National Universities (tie) by the US News 2020. QS Global World Ranking 2020 ranks the institution among 651-700. Times Higher Education ranks it at 601–800th in the World University Rankings 2020 and 160th in US Rankings 2020.

Accomplishments & Alumni
Stevens Institute of Technology is a research-intensive school primarily known for its Engineering, Science, and Management programs. All Engineering and Computer science programs are ABET-accredited. All undergraduate and graduate programs are accredited by AACSB. The famous alumni are Frederick Reines was an American physicist, who was awarded Nobel Prize in Physics in 1995 for his co-detection of the neutrino with Clyde Cowan in the neutrino experiment. Francis Ford Coppola is an American film director, screenwriter, producer, and film composer, He was a central figure in the New Hollywood filmmaking movement of the 1960s and 1970s. He was considered to be one of the greatest filmmakers of all time.
