The University of Birmingham is a public research university established in 1900. It is a global university situated at the heart of the ambitious city of Birmingham. Established by Queen Victoria, the University of Birmingham is a forward-thinking university that is known for its global reach and national eminence. As per the QS World University Rankings 2019, the University of Birmingham is the 79th best university in the world.

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

The university offers its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in several disciplines that were also ranked among the top 50 list. The University of Birmingham’s Dentistry programmes were ranked 13th, Education and Development Studies courses were ranked 36th, sports-related subjects were ranked 6th, Theology, Religious Studies and Divinity programmes were ranked 26th and English language and Literature programmes were ranked 34th by the latest QS World University Rankings. Coming to its infrastructure, the University of Birmingham offers state-of-the-art facilities to its students. The Cadbury Research Library is the university’s main library that houses over 200,000 books and about four million manuscript items. In September 2018, the university inaugurated its new campus in Dubai that made him the first global top 100 universities to open a campus in Dubai.
