Yale University was founded in 1701 and is the third oldest University in the United States for higher education. COVID-19 Response

In order to provide the best student experience while also ensuring the safety and health of all students, staff and faculty at the university, Yale University has released an appropriate COVID-19 response.

  • With the hope that most activities will be conducted on-campus for the Fall 2021 session, the University Is implementing a phased re-introduction of in-person activities, for both students and faculty alike.

  • As a result of the availability of the vaccines across the world, the university expects to reopen most in-person activities, depending on the public health conditions at the time.

  • Students are required to be fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 if they plan to take part in the in-person classes and activities scheduled for the Fall 2021 session. Students can choose to be vaccinated on-campus as well, however, they will be required to make vaccination appointments.

  • Students, whether vaccinated or not, are required to wear face-masks and participate in asymptomatic testing procedures as well until further notice.
