2. Document Submission: Students must send hard copies of all documents to their respective colleges for preliminary verification along with the online application.
3. College Verification: College principals and inspection officers will review the submitted documents and confirm the eligibility of the applicant through the SSP portal.
4. Taluk Welfare Officer Review: The Taluk Backward Classes Welfare Officer will verify the submitted details and confirm the eligibility of the student.
5. District Welfare Officer Confirmation: The District Backward Classes Welfare Officer will cross-check the information provided by the Taluk Officer before final approval.
6. Attendance Verification: Students must maintain at least 75% attendance. The college principal will confirm this attendance, and the Taluk Welfare Officer will upload this information to the portal.
7. Budget Approval: Based on the available budget and student eligibility, the taluk-level officer will approve the scholarship or hostel benefits.
8. Grant Disbursement: Once approved, the scholarship amount will be disbursed directly to the student’s Aadhaar-linked bank account through Treasury-2 software.
