It is an autonomous engineering institution that has been granted the status of an Institute of National Importance. The NIT Delhi courses list includes B.Tech and M.Tech courses in multiple specialisations, including civil engineering, computer science and engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, and mechanical engineering. The institute accepts JEE Main scores for NIT Delhi B.Tech admissions and GATE scores for M.Tech admissions.
