The exam pattern of BITSAT 2026 will be released by BITS Pilani on its website along with the official brochure. As per the previous trends of the BITSAT paper pattern, the exam will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) for 3 hours. The questions about physics, chemistry, and mathematics, in addition to logical reasoning and English, will be asked in the exam. • All questions will be multiple choice, and the mode of instruction will be English.
• The exam will consist of 130 questions in total
• The question paper will be divided into five sections
• Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English proficiency, and Logical Thinking of the candidates will be tested.

Important Note: If you answer all 130 questions without skipping any, you can attempt an extra 12 questions if there is still time left. Extra questions will be based on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology, and Logical Reasoning, with three questions each. Once you select extra questions, you cannot change your answers to any of the previous 130 questions. BITSAT counselling is being conducted in six rounds. Only those who pass the BITSAT 2026 exam will be considered eligible to participate in BITSAT Counselling 2026. Moreover, the counselling will include the procedures such as:-

• Online Registration: BITS Pilani will conduct the BITSAT 2026 counselling registration in online mode. You must visit the official website, click on the counselling registration link, and provide all the required information.
• Marks Submission: You must upload information on subject-wise marks acquired in the Class 12 examination. Those awaiting results must download the BITSAT counselling application form 2026 and submit it to the authorities once their Class 12 results are out. They must put "Original form already submitted, 12th standard marks being submitted now" at the top of the application form.
• Choice Filling: After providing all of the required information, applicants must pick their desired courses and colleges. This phase is important since BITSAT Seat Allotment 2026 will be based on the alternatives of colleges chosen.
