Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology placement process is very straightforward conducted for final year students. In the third year of engineering, companies start going to universities for recruitment. The company is already deciding on the name and the package. There are two types of campus processes, pool campus and gated campus. The company has called for mediation and will participate in the mediation process. A particular Cell is set up in the institute to deal with MAIT student placements. The cell is led by Brig. (Retired) SKKakar, (Director, Professional Development Cell), who selects student placement coordinators from each branch based on their academic performance and participation in extracurricular activities. A database is maintained for each student, containing their detailed academic results and other details such as their CV, grade sheets, etc.
The placement officer addresses the students before they are included in the placement pool, which usually occurs at the beginning of the seventh semester. Students target the required technical and soft skills to improve their traits. And overcome their weaknesses before commencing mediation. MAIT has successfully completed the 2018-19 final placement process. MAIT is internationally recognized for its exceptional placement. This year, students from all over the streams were placed with the best placement package. In the 2018-19 recruiting process, the maximum number of students have been placed in the CSE branch.
