Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, established in 1998 in Ghaziabad, is affiliated to Dr. Abdul Kalam Technical University. The institute is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education. AKGEC Ghaziabad Courses and Fees Structure

 The AKGEC Ghaziabad Admission Process for selection to all the courses is based upon UPSEE. AKGEC Ghaziabad B.Tech. & B.Voc. Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech. -

• Candidates must possess a 10+2 qualification with a minimum of 75% marks in PCM.
• JEE Main qualified candidates are also eligible for admission.
• The minimum qualification for II years B.Tech (Lateral Entry) is a three-year Engineering Diploma in any branch of engineering (except Agriculture Engg., Pharmacy, and Architecture).

B.Voc. - 

• The Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College Ghaziabad Admission for B.Voc minimum qualification is Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College Ghaziabad Admission Criteria for B.Tech. & B.Voc. Admissions to B.Tech I & II years (Lateral entry) are done through the Combined State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow.

AKGEC Ghaziabad M.Tech. Selection Criteria

Admission to the program will be granted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in GATE or UPSEE.

• The application form for UPSEE is available at the official website of the board.
• The candidates need to register before filling the form.
• Applicants will have to fill in all the necessary details and upload scanned copies of the required documents.
• Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College Ghaziabad  Admission Fees can be filled online through Credit/Debit cards or Net Banking.

The AKGEC application fee for males and transgender is Rs 1200/- and for females, SC/ST and PWD candidates are Rs 600/-.

AKGEC Admission documents required:

1) The following documents are to be downloaded, filled by hand, and submitted personally to the College authorities by the Candidate at the time of physical reporting:

a) Admission Form

2) The Candidates while coming to physical report at College after UPSEE-2023 Counseling are required to mandatorily bring the following documents: 

a) Admission letter/Rank letter (Institute copy + photocopy). 

b) Aadhaar Card 

c) High School Mark-sheet & Pass Certificate 

d) Intermediate mark sheet - M.Tech. I Yr. and MCA I Yr. & II Yr. ( Lateral Entry ) candidates would additionally submit the Graduation Mark sheets of all years/semesters available at the time of reporting. - B.Tech. II Yr. (Lateral Entry - Diploma Holders / B.Sc. Graduates) candidates would additionally submit Diploma/Graduation Mark sheets of all years/semesters available at the time of reporting. 

e) Category and Sub Category Certificates (if applicable). 

f) Domicile Certificate (if applicable): All candidates who have done 10+2 or Graduation from outside the State of UP shall mandatorily submit Domicile Certificate. Further, a Domicile Certificate is also mandatory for all eligible candidates who intend to apply for and avail of the Scholarship and Freeship facility. 

g) Medical Certificate as per UPSEE 2023 information brochure.

h) Character Certificate issued by the last Institute attended. 

i) TC (Transfer Certificate) & Migration: B.Tech. I Yr. Candidates – The Candidates from U.P. Board will be required to submit TC only whereas Candidates from other Boards will submit TC & Migration both. M.Tech. I Yr. and MCA I & II Yr. Candidates – The Candidates will submit TC & Migration both. M.Tech. I Yr. Candidates who have completed their graduation from AKTU / UPTU need to submit T.C. only. B.Tech. II Yr. (Lateral Entry for Diploma Holders / B.Sc. Graduates) - The Diploma Holders will submit TC only whereas B.Sc. Graduates will submit TC & Migration both.

Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College (AKGEC) result 2023 is released for semester examinations for all the programs. Results are released in PDF form separately for all the programs. Students need to enter their registration number on the online portal to check the results. 

AKGEC conducts its examination semester-wise on an odd-even basis. The result of the Odd semester examination is usually announced in the month of January every year while the result of the Even Semester examination is announced in the months of July-August.

Evaluation is done on the basis of internal assessment and semester examinations. The college conducts its internal assessment in every term and these marks are added in the total score for the semester result.
