Joint Entrance Examination Council of Uttar Pradesh conducts the JEECUP exam, also known as UP Polytechnic exam. Check the detailed JEECUP 2019 eligibility criteria, application process, important dates, syllabus, result here.

JEECUP is a state-level entrance exam conducted by JEECUP (Joint Entrance Examination Council of Uttar Pradesh). The JEECUP examination is taken by candidates for admission to various courses in the areas of Engineering, Pharmacy, Technology, and Management as well as other Diploma courses. UP Polytechnic 2019 exam is an offline exam which will be conducted on 28 April 2019.

There are many polytechnic institutions that offer admission in their polytechnic courses on the basis of JEECUP scores. These institutes are affiliated to Board of Technical Education, UP (UPBTC). Eligibility Criteria for JEECUP 2019

Candidates have to meet certain eligibility criteria for JEECUP 2019 listed below:

Age Limit: No upper age limit for the JEECUP 2019 exam but the candidate needs to be at least 14-years-old as on July 1, 2019.

Note: Candidates appearing for the class 10th exam are also eligible to apply for JEECUP 2019.

JEECUP Application Form - Apply Online

Candidates will have to fill in JEECUP application form online which will be available from 3rd week of December 2018.

Application Fee of JEECUP 2019

Candidates need to pay the application fee online (credit or debit cards/net banking) or offline (e-challan). Offline payments can be made at any of the branches of SBI and e-challans can be generated while filling the application form online. The application fee for SC/ST candidates is Rs. 200 and application fee for General as well as OBC candidates is Rs. 300.

Documents Required for JEECUP Application Form 2019

Candidates have to upload the scanned documents of photographs, signature, and left thumb impression.

How to Fill JEECUP 2019 Application Form

The candidate will need to enter the mobile number and email id for registration, then fill in his/her name as well as the name of both parents, date of birth, contact details, aadhaar details and then choose a password.

After registering, fill in the domicile, academic qualifications and category details. Then the candidate will have to choose an exam centre. Submit the completed application form and take a print of the confirmation page.

Exam Pattern of UPJEE 2019

JEECUP 2019 will be conducted in offline mode and will only have objective type questions. There will be only one paper and the duration of the exam will be 3 hours. There will be a total of 100 objective type questions and each correct answer will have 4 marks while for every incorrect answer, one mark will be cut. Candidates will be asked questions in English and Hindi both and they will have the option to choose either one of the two. Calculators will not be allowed inside the examination hall.

JEECUP 2019 Answer Key

The answer key of JEECUP 2019 will be released in the third week of May 2019. It will include the official answers for the questions asked in the JEECUP entrance exam. Candidates can compare their answers with the answers in the UPJEE 2019 answer key to assess their score.

Admit Card for UPJEE 2019

JEECUP will release the provisional admit cards for JEECUP 2019 online in the 2nd week of April 2019 for candidates who meet the eligibility criteria. Before downloading the admit card, candidates will need to make sure that all the details entered are correct or else the candidate will have to inform the exam authorities. The admit card will have details such as exam center, day, time and roll number.

JEECUP 2019 Result

The result of JEECUP will be out around the third week of May 2019. It will have details such as the actual marks scored by a candidate in the exam and the qualifying status. For admission purpose and seat allotment, only the State Open Rank which will be category wise will be taken into account. Candidates can check their result on the result portal as the result will not be sent separately to the candidate.

JEECUP 2019 Cut-Off

The cut-off of JEECUP 2019 for all four rounds of seat allotment will be declared as opening and closing ranks. In order to check the cut-off, the candidate will need to select the counselling round, programme and the institute. The cut-off will be based on parameters such as the total number of seats that are available and the number of applications that are received.

JEECUP Exam Centres 2019

JEECUP 2019 will be held in all the districts of Uttar Pradesh. But if a particular district is not available due to some unforeseen circumstances, the candidate will be given a JEECUP 2019 exam center in a nearby location. Also, after a candidate has chosen a particular district or exam center, it will not be changed.
