B.P.Marine Academy Admission 2024 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

BP Marine Academy admission 2023-24 is open for all programmes. Candidates can visit the college's website to apply for admission. BP Marine Academy was established in 1997 to help train members to become proficient seafarers. The training that is needed for an efficient seafarer with all expertise in the engine, dock, and other machinery is provided by BP Marine Academy. Besides just the curriculum-centric training, BP Marine Academy also aims at providing practical and situational training. With the help of simulators and highly trained professionals who impart this knowledge, generating reliable merchant navy folks and marine engineers becomes easy.  

• BP Marine Academy facilitates scholarships, fellowships, and awards to meritorious students. This merit is constantly monitored by the management of the college and the deserving students get rewarded. 
• The college has established and maintained simulators and a library with relevant study materials that enable a trainee to make the most out of a course that are being offered. 
• The academy offers courses at the UG level, which include three pre sea training courses, post sea training courses, consisting of basic modular courses, advanced modular courses, refresher and upgradation courses, simulator courses, value added course and competency courses two Bachelor of Science(B.Sc), four Higher National Diploma (HND), an Electro-Technical Officer and STCW (Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers) courses.

• 12th Standard Score - Every candidate is supposed to have a basic score in their class 12th exam. It must be taken care that the score is as per the threshold set by the institute. Along with the percentage, the application form has to be filled with other details. 
• Graduation - For Post Graduate Courses, it is a necessity to have met the cutoff in graduation score. There should be a score that is expected in order to qualify for the post graduate courses.

BP Marine Eligibility for after 10^th Courses

BP Marine Academy offers a GP Rating (Deck and Engine) course for 10^th pass-outs. The eligibility criteria for the same are as follows –

• The candidates must have passed Class 10^th with 40% of marks in Science/ Mathematics and English.

BP Marine Eligibility for after 12^th Courses

BP Marine Academy offers the following courses for 12^th pass outs, and the eligibility is as follows –

• HND in Nautical Science – Class 12^th with 35% of marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
• HND in Marine Engineering – Class 12^th with 35% of marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
• BSc. Nautical Science (Mumbai University) - Class 12^th with 60% of marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
• BSc. Hospitality Studies (Hotel Management) – Candidates who have passed Class 12^th in any stream are eligible for admission.
• Certificate Course in Maritime Catering (CCMC) - Completed 10+2 from any stream with a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate and English separately in 12th standard.
• Electro-Technical Officer Course(ETO) - Diploma with  60% B. E . or  B.Tech with at least 50% marks in Instrumentation or Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication and with 12 STD PCM & English 50% in 10 or 12 STD.
• B.Sc. in Hospitality Studies and Catering Services (Yashawantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University) - 10+ 2 (Any Stream) from a Government Recognized Board of India or who has Completed the 10+ Preparatory Exam. Or, passed the program for graduation as per YCMOU norms.

BP Marine Academy Eligibility for Graduate Courses 2023

BP Marine offers a GME course for graduates, and the eligibility for the same is B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering/ Naval Architecture/ five-year Integrated M.Tech degree.

The institute has 2 campuses, namely Panvel and Belapur. The allotment is done based on the location and on the basis of courses offered at both locations. The faculty available at both campuses are top-notch and offer training that adheres to all international standards of training. 

Depending on the course to be chosen, the interested candidates can apply. 

The academy offers a full-time Certificate Programme in Maritime Catering for a period of six months. The eligibility criteria for the same are mentioned below :

The BP Marine Academy offers a diploma program in Nautical Science. This program is a full-time program BTech degree offered for a period of 1 year. 

BP Marine Academy offers a Higher National Diploma (HND) full-time program for a period of two years. The program has two specializations and the eligibility criteria for both are the same. 

• There are no entrance exams for BPMA courses. The BP Marine Academy admission is purely based on the eligibility criteria and merit. 
• The only course that accepts candidates who have passed 10-grade is GP rating programme.
  The college offers flexibility with the application dates. There is preference given purely based on merit. 
• The students can get their seats based on the application as and when they are vacant.

For BP Marine Academy BSc Admission

BPMA BSc is a three-year full-time program offered in two specializations. For both the specializations, the minimum, and maximum age range is 17 and 25 years. The eligibility criteria for a Bachelor of Science are mentioned below:

BP Marine Academy offers a full-time General Purpose (GP) Rating and the duration of the course is six months. The minimum and maximum age range of a candidate must be between 17 and 25 years. Here are the highlights of the course:

• The selection for the GP Rating program is strictly done on the basis of merit
• The course is considered under Pre Sea Training and is completed focussed on Deck and Engine
