Tamil Nadu ITI admission 2026 is conducted annually for candidates who have completed their schooling and are interested in pursuing certificate courses in trades such as electrician, fitter, mechanic, welder, computer operator, stenography, and many more. Candidates are chosen based on their performance in qualifying exams (8th, 10th, or 12th standard, depending on the trade requirements) as part of a merit-based admissions process. As required by law, certain seats are also set aside for particular groups, guaranteeing everyone an equal chance.

Jharkhand ITI Admission 2025: The admission process to ITIs in the state of Jharkhand is based on the marks secured in class 8 and 10. The admission is followed by an online merit list and counselling process where seats are allotted to students as per their rank, category, and preferences of ITIs and trades. Currently, the spot round admission process is underway. The spot round counselling is conducted from August 29 to 30, 2025, for various seats that are left in ITIs on the first-come-first-serve basis.
