DY Patil University admission 2024 has started for various courses. DY Patil University BAMS admission is based on NEET for which exam is to be conducted on May 5, 2024. Given below are the DY Patil University Navi Mumbai courses and their course-wise eligibility and selection criteria provided in a tabular format.

A) The Candidate must be either 17 years of age or attain the age at the time of admission. Candidate must have passed HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board, securing minimum 50% marks in the aggregate of all subjects. Physics, Chemistry and English are compulsory and the student should have cleared either Mathematics / Biology in standard XII examinations leading to an aggregate of 50% as mentioned above.

The Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and OBC students shall have relaxation of 10% in the aggregate marks required for eligibility.

B) Score of recognized national / state level entrance examinations are required failing which candidates will have to appear for an entrance test of the School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, D Y Patil Deemed To Be University, Navi Mumbai.

HSC Science equivalent with minimum 50% Marks + AIET

(a) A candidate should have passed the Bachelor’s Degree/Master Degree in Sciences, Social Sciences/Humanities/Commerce of any other university recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) with at least marks decided by the State of Maharashtra and NCTE time to time.

OR
(b) Bachelor in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics of any recognized university with at least marks decided by the state of Maharashtra and NCTE from time to time. He/she should have at least one school subject at the first and/or second degree level as principal/subsidiary/allied or optional subject. (School subject means the subject included in the syllabus of Secondary/Higher secondary level in the Maharashtra State).

(c) The reservation and relaxation of 5% in the total marks will be given to the candidates belonging to S.C. / S.T. / V.J.N.T. / OBC/PWD and other notified categories as per the Maharashtra State Government Rules.

Passed the HSC (Std. XII/ 10+2) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with Mathematics and English as subjects and 50 % marks in aggregate at the 10 + 2 level examination.

OR
Passed Diploma in under 10+3 Diploma (any stream) Examination recognized by the central/ state government or its equivalent examination and secured minimum 50% aggregate marks. (45% for backward class candidates from Maharashtra state only).

And

Hold valid score at National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture for the academic year (with minimum 35% valid score)
Notes: Rounding off of the aggregate % of marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination between 49.50% and 50%, (44.50% and 45% in case of Reserve category candidates) will be done while deciding the eligibility, as directed by the COA in view of the judgments of Hon‘ble Supreme Court of India and High Court of Bombay

For B.Sc Hospitality Studies, Culinary Studies

Candidate having passed XIIth std Examination of any State Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent and secured not less than 40% marks in aggregate of any stream(Science, Commerce, Arts, Home Science, MCVC etc.)

Candidate having passed XIIth std from any State Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent and secured not less than 50% marks in one year Vocational course related to Hospitality studies is eligible to the first year of the degree course.

For Basic B.Sc. Nursing

• HSC Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English) with 45% marks
• For SC & ST 40% in HSC Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English)
• NAIET

For Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing

Passed the Higher Secondary or Senior Secondary or Intermediate or 10+2 or an equivalent examination recognized by the university for this purpose. Those who have done 10+1 in or before 1986, will be eligible for admission. Obtained a certificate in RGNM and registered as R.N. R. M. with the State Nurses Registration Council. A male nurse, trained before the Implementation of the new integrated course besides being registered as a nurse with State Nurses Registration Council, shall produce evidence of training approved by Indian Nursing Council for a similar duration in lieu of midwifery in any one of the areas: O. T. Techniques, Ophthalmic Nursing, Leprosy Nursing, TB Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Neurological & Neuro Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Cancer Nursing, Orthopedic Nursing & Candidates shall be medically fit.

HSC Science equivalent with minimum 50% Marks + NEET

The candidate with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate (45 % in case of reserved category candidates) in Bachelor of Architecture degree course or equivalent courses recognized by the Council of Architecture shall be admitted to the Post Graduate course in Architecture.

For M.Sc. in Nursing

B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks and M. Sc. NAIET. Minimum one year of Experience after B. Sc. Nursing, Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing & Candidate shall be medically fit.5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates may be given.

Graduation

BDS with 1 year compulsory internship completed by 31st March 2018 + NEET-PG.

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% Marks + All India Entrance Test

For Ayurved Course

1. Minimum Age – 18 years

• 12th or (10+2 Equivalent) with Minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English for UR &  40% for SC/ST/OBC.

• NEET Qualified.

Passed Higher Secondary School (10+2) or an equivalent examination with minimum 45% marks and DYPCET Score.

The Candidate must have passed the H.S.C or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) with minimum 35% marks. The candidates having secured minimum of 50 % marks will be given preferrance.
