Versatile Business School (VBS) is a premier education institution in Chennai offering degree and diploma courses in the field of management. The courses offered by VBS include PGDM courses in 10 disciplines and MBA courses in 5 disciplines. The PGDM courses at VBS are affiliated to Periyar University while the MBA courses are offered in affiliation with Annamalai University and Alagappa University.

VBS follows an entrance-exam based selection process for its courses. Marks scored by a candidate in VBSET / CAT / MAT exams are accepted for admission. However, the admission process of VBS is not only based on the entrance exam scores but also the previous educational performance of a candidate. 50% weightage has been provided to UG marks and 25% each to entrance exam scores and GD / PI performance for calculation of the final merit for admission to VBS.

Versatile Business School MBA / PGDM Eligibility Criteria 2021

Candidates interested in taking admission to the MBA or PGDM courses offered by Versatile Business School must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria specified below.

  • Candidate must have completed graduation (bachelor's degree course) from a UGC-recognized university.

  • Candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.

  • Graduates from any stream can apply for MBA / PGDM courses at VBS.

  • Candidates in the final year of their bachelor's degree course can also apply for admission. However, such candidates will be required to meet the complete eligibility criteria after completing the course and provide the Certificate of Merit within the deadline stipulated by VBS.

Versatile Business School MBA / PGDM Selection Criteria 2021

For admission to the MBA and PGDM courses at VBS, candidates have to go through the selection process of VBS. MBA admissions at VBS are conducted through the VBS Entrance Test (VBSET). CAT and MAT scores are also accepted for admission.

  • Candidates first have to meet the admission eligibility criteria specified by the institute.

  • The eligible candidates are then shortlisted for the next round based upon their score in VBSET (or other entrance exams such as CAT / MAT)

  • Shortlisted candidates are then invited for Interview and Group Discussion (GD) at the institute.

  • Final merit list of candidates is created based upon the overall performance of the candidate as well as their previous academic performance. The weightage distribution for admission to VBS has been provided in the table below.

VBS Entrance Test Exam Pattern 2021

Versatile Business School Entrance Test (VBSET) is the entrance exam conducted by VBS for admission to its MBA and PGDM courses. The exam consists of four sections with a total of 100 questions which the candidates have to attempt in a total of 2 hours. The following sections appear in the VBSET.
