Anand College of Pharmacy Admissions 2023

Established in 2006, Anand College of Pharmacy has been essential in generating high-quality pharmacists and researchers with the requisite knowledge, skills, and aptitude to meet society’s ever-growing healthcare demands.

Anand College of Pharmacy courses include Bachelors of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Post-Graduation in Pharmacology (M.Pharma), and Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma). The majority of the college's alumni are employed by the finest pharmaceutical companies in India, or have decided to study pharmacy or business administration abroad, or have been effectively placed in related jobs.

As per Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and AICTE, New Delhi, Anand College of Pharmacy Agra boasts outstanding laboratories with best-in-class equipment. It is the state’s first pharmacy college, with well-equipped, state-of-the-art research laboratories and a well-kept animal house for research, where students research the effects of various medications and formulations on animals.

Anand College of Pharmacy Selection Criteria 2023

The selection for any of the graduate, postgraduate or diploma courses at Anand College of Pharmacy is done based on the candidate’s merit, their fulfillment of respective eligibility criteria for all the courses. The students are verified of the information that they have provided against the eligibility stated by the institution. All the shortlisted candidates are then selected and granted admission after completing all formalities and processes.

Anand College of Pharmacy Admission Process 2023 

The application form may be received by paying a fee of INR 1000 in cash at any of the Institute's offices or by sending a Demand Draft (DD) for INR 1050 payable in Agra in the name of the college sought.

Online Application

  • Candidates who submit an online application through the Sharda Group's website will be sent to a self-application form.
  • After successfully completing the application form, the system will produce a unique ID and Password (Numeric) for the candidate, which will serve as their unique identifying number throughout the admissions process.
  • An auto-generated email will be sent to the candidate's email address with the following information: a welcome message and a unique ID number.
  • The student can take an Online Test (OLT) with the Unique ID he was given, and the test results will be available online.
  • After passing the online exam, candidates must visit the Central Admission Cell or one of our Regional Centers.
  • Candidates shall give a Personal Interview after submitting an application and paying a fee of INR 1000/- in cash or INR 1050/- in DD.
  • Selected students would be given admission based on their cumulative performance in Class 12th, Written Test, Interview, and Rank in a competitive examination.

Applying through the Centers 

  • Candidates entering any of the Centers must first create a unique identification number that will serve as a reference throughout the admissions process.
  • Following the creation of a unique ID, the candidate must take a written test as well as an interview. Selected students will be offered admission based on their cumulative performance in Class 12, the Written Test, the Interview, and their rank in a competitive test.
  • Candidates can get counselling by calling Tele-Counselors or visiting one of the numerous admission centres.

Aptitude Test (SAT) of Anand College of Pharmacy

The student may sit for an Admission Test at our Central Admission Cell on the specified day of the Aptitude Test (SAT) (which is announced via various media and on the web), and shortlisted applicants of Anand College of Pharmacy must follow the procedure outlined above to obtain admission. 

  • The duration of the Aptitude Test is 60 minutes. It assesses the candidate's problem-solving abilities, analytical capabilities, and linguistic fluency.
  • All courses are tested at the Agra – Mathura Campuses and the other admission offices listed above.

On the same day, the merit would be announced, and shortlisted candidates would be admitted on the same day after a personal interview based on the evaluation standards.

  • Candidates who have been shortlisted can register by paying a fee of INR 30,000/- in cash or by DD at any of the Institute's offices.
  • Joining Process

Shortlisted candidates of Anand College of Pharmacy will be notified, and they will be required to report to the Central Admission Cell at SGI Towers, 500 meters from Bhagwan Talkies, on the Agra – Mathura Highway (NH-2) Agra – 282002, to pay the remaining amount and obtain the admission.

Anand College of Pharmacy Admission Highlights

  • The University offers 85 % of the seats through State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) Counseling, which is based on the student's rank.
  • Counseling sessions are being held in major cities and are being advertised in major newspapers. The colleges complete the remaining 15% of seats through direct admissions in accordance with AKTU norms, while the Management Quota is filled using the procedure outlined below. Admissions are made solely on the basis of merit.

Other Fees

  • Annual Transportation Charges (Bus Fee): INR 21,000
  • Hostel Fees: INR 73,000 (Hostel Fee 68,000 + refundable 5,000 Security Deposit).

Conferences and industrial tours in Anand College of Pharmacy are included.

  • On request, an air-conditioned hostel (At an additional cost) may be provided. 
  • Payable once at the time of admission, Book Bank (INR 7,000) and Uniform (INR 6,000).

Anand College of Pharmacy M.Pharm Selection Process 2023

  • The candidate must be an AKTU rank holder.
  • The candidate must have earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy or similar degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 60%. The criteria for selection will be determined by the university's policies.
  • The duration of the M. Pharma programme is two academic years.
  • Candidates are selected based on their performance in the AKTU entrance exam.

Anand College of Pharmacy D.Pharma Selection Process 2023

No candidate will be admitted to Diploma in Pharmacy Part- I unless he or she has passed any of the following exams in all optional and compulsory subjects: (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and/or Mathematics, with English as one of the required subjects):

  • Intermediate examination in Science; First year of a three-year degree programme in Science; Class 12th Academic stream in Science
  • Pre-degree examination; any other qualification recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India as equal to any of the aforementioned exams.
  • Candidates for the Diploma in Pharmacy Part- I will be admitted in order of merit based on the results of the Pre-Pharmacy Test, which will be performed in line with the University's examination plan and syllabus.
  • The duration of the D. Pharmacy programme is two academic years. 
  • The selection of candidates for D.Pharm at Anand College of Pharmacy is done one the basis of candidates’ performance in Pre-Pharmacy Test. 

  • The test is conducted in accordance with the syllabus and scheme of exams laid down by Abdul Kalam Technical University.

Anand College of Pharmacy B. Pharm Eligibility Criteria 2023

  • Candidates who have completed Class 12th, with a minimum of 50% marks, from CBSE/ICSE/UP Board and other State Boards with Physics and Chemistry as a compulsory subjects and one of the following subjects as an optional: - Mathematics/ biotechnology/computer science/biology are eligible for the admission to the first year. 
  • Candidates who have completed a two-year diploma in pharmacy with a minimum of 60% from an institution approved by the Board of Technical Education of Uttar Pradesh are only eligible for admission to the second year of the B. Pharm. programme.
  • The duration of the Anand College of Pharmacy B. Pharm programme is four academic years.
