The computerized library has a rich collection of books, presently it has about 30,946 copies of books, 9 journals and 6 periodicals. The library is not only capable to support the existing disciplines in the Institute but also it can impart the knowledge for higher study. Moreover, it has a rare collection of books in Mining and Instrumentation. It is one of the important resource center of the Institute, serving both students as well as the faculties. A medical officer regularly assists the College to run the Students' Health Centre. Students and Staff may consult her, if necessary. She is available on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the college Students' Health Centre. There are two hostels - Unit I (Old) and Unit - II (New). The number of existing seats in each hostel is 80. Students' Mess in the new hostel runs on self financing basis. whereas students’ mess is run by the boarders in the old hostels. The College provides hostel facility to the students from distant places. However. students are provided hostel accommodation on the basis of their merit and distance of their place of residence. Allotment of seats in the old hostel and new hostel depends on the financial condition of their parents/guardian. The hostel boarders are bound to obey the rules and regulations framed by the college authority and the B.U. ordinance. There is a Students' Hostel Welfare Committee which supervise the management of the hostels and maintenance of discipline

NCC unit of the college has started functioning with effect from the Training Year 2008-2009 under the 10 Bengal Battalion NCC.

This college runs two NSS units. Any student of this college may join NSS Unit as a volunteer. On completion of a stipulated period of service, the volunteers are awarded certificates by Burdwan University. The certificate in Social Service may be helpful to students, in various ways, regarding their Career Vista in future.
